Finland’s first hardware hacking training

Structure of physical devices offers exceptional set of information security threats. It is common that the manufacturer has not taken these threats into account and thus provides the market devices which are easy targets for hackers.

Our training offers opportunity to learn hardware hacking in practice. You will be provided with a target device and all necessary tooling to analyze and exploit the device.

What is included?

In our training you will get familiar with how physical devices are designed and learn how to understand a structure of unknown device. We go through all steps of information gathering and device structure analysis to identifying the potential weaknesses of the design and finally exploiting the found vulnerabilities.

  • Physical target device

  • KoTeCo Basic Hacking Toolkit

    • Multimeter

    • Screwdriver set by iFixit

    • USB-USART cable by FTDI

For who?

Our hardware hacking training is designed so that anyone can participate. We recommend that participant has some technical background, as the training is more focused on practical exercises. All exercises are done at participant’s own pace and we offer support as needed. Our goal is that everyone will pass all given challenges by the end of the course.
